Yes, you can define the memory location and file name in the settings dialogue of the PDF printer. You can access the settings dialogue via Start - Programs - [7-PDF Printer program group] - Options.Category: 7-PDF Printer, Memory Location
How can I change the standard memory location (directory) to my “documents” folder?
Open the setting dialogue “Options”, alter the file path as desired with the available wild cards, such as <personal></personal>\<smarttitle></smarttitle>.pdf. The <personal></personal> wildcard automatically references your “documents” folder during PDF creation and saves the PDF there. You can also find the ‘last selected memory location’ option there and can activate/deactivate this as required.Category: 7-PDF Printer, Memory Location
I have entered watermark text in the print dialogue of the PDF printer. Why is it not shown in the PDF?
Watermarks are printed at a lower level or layer of PDF content. Some Windows applications, such as Internet Explorer, print a white background instead of a transparent background in the PDF document. This white background then prevents the watermark from being shown. In contrast, other programs, such as Microsoft Office, add a transparent background. The watermark is then visible.Category: 7-PDF Printer, Watermarks
